Organic Cream Perfume Review & Giveaway!

The Cream Perfume Company has stolen my heart with their amazing organic perfume body lotion and cream perfumes. And what's not to love? Have you seen the packaging? The cream perfumes come in a little Eco-friendly Canadian birch wood jars! There aren't many things cuter than that.

I'm sure you can imagine my excitement when I opened the package to find 2 adorable little jars, one floral Mimosa Cream Perfume and one citrus Mandarin Cream Perfume (currently their featured scent!), and one very generous bottle of their Spa Line Sandalwood Body Lotion. I opened them all immediately! I will say that the Sandalwood Body Lotion is my favorite product of theirs! The lotion goes on so smooth, leaves absolutely no greasy residue, and the scent lasted for HOURS. That, I'll admit, I honestly wasn't expecting. Many a time's have I lathered up in great smelling lotion just to find that 2 hours later I can't smell a thing and my skin feels oily. Ugh. But this one is great. The Cream Perfume's Spa Line can be used for a "thicker and heavily frangranced skin massage" while their Natural Line is for more sensitive skin. All of their lotions are free of Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Silicones, Artificial Colors and Petroleum-Based Ingredients. They are 100% Vegan, Cruelty-Free, Wheat And Gluten Free.

Taking these amazing scents all the way from Grasse, France, also known as the world's perfume capital, here is a little tidbit from their site:

Onto the cream perfumes!

The Cream Perfume Company differs from most mass-producers of perfume in that theirs do not contain a massive amount of ethanol, which dries out your skin terribly. Instead, they incorporate beeswax and sweet almond oil into their delicious recipe! The Mandarin Cream Perfume smelled so great I could have taken a bite out of it. It really had a light scent of mandarin with nice flow of peaches. It was pretty nice, but the Mimosa Cream Perfume was definitely my favorite of the two. It was so fresh! The floral textures with a hint of vanilla make you want to have a garden lining your house so you can have that smell running through your home. A friend of mine came over and I let her use some of it to give me her opinion and she fell in love. She said it reminded her of hanging fresh laundry up outside in the middle of spring. Though I'm not quite sure how many times she's actually done that in her life (come on, let's be real...), she made a good point. It's a pretty good comparison.

A good note to point out as well, the little cream perfume bottles are travel friendly! It is nearly impossible to carry liquid onto a plane now. What better way to freshen up after you land than having your favorite scent right there in your carry-on? At 10mL / .35 oz, it is the perfect size.

As if you need another reason to love this company, here's one more: they are members of the Natural Products Association and always contribute (at MINIMUM) 10% of our profits to families in need.
