Fiftyseven-Thirythree Apparel Review & Hoodie (RV: $48) Giveaway

Fiftyseven-thirtythree is an East Oakland based company that makes its products with water based, solvent free inks. Not only does this company appeal to me because I was born near there and have family there, but the people running the show are awesome! After contacting Justin, he was more than happy to send me a t-shirt to review!

I requested a V-Neck t-shirt from the "Ambition" line and it quotes "If you want to achieve greatness, stop asking for permission." It was very appropriate timing considering all of the Occupy movements going on. Occupy Asheville (where I am!) is still going strong, as is Occupy Oakland, where the shirt was made! That is another wonderful thing about this company, the shirts are printed right here in the USA and are sweat-shop free!

 

I received a lot of compliments on this shirt while walking around downtown, and I am excited to wear it on my upcoming trip to CA on Wednesday! I will probably wear it on the flight because it is just so comfortable.

They also have a cute baby onesie that reads "Teething Sucks" as well as prints, Sugarskull Cosmestics and skate decks! There are several cities in CA that sell Fiftyseven-Thirtythree gear (Oakland, San Francisco, Berkeley, LA, to name a few) as well as Utah, Canada and even a store in Switzerland! Obviously if you live in any of the remaining 48 states or other countries, the most convenient way to buy from them is online. Their customer service is really great too.
